I recently got my ACT scores and was very proud of my results. My SAT and SAT Subject tests were good too. I am currently a rising Junior, but will be going abroad in Germany for this year, which is why I took all these tests early. My mom recently proposed that I go to a local college instead of going back to my old high school after my year in Germany because of my good scores at my age. To clarify, my SAT scores were 570 for reading, 640 for math, and 680 for writing (with a perfect 12 on my essay!). My Subject Test scores were 600 for world history and 660 for Biology. My ACT score was 29. My mom said that I would have to go to a college nearby and since I live in St. Paul, MN, I have a variety of choices, particularly Macalester, Saint Catherine's, Saint Thomas, Saint Olaf, Carleton and a variety of others. I would like to go into Anthropology and Archaeology. So (finally) Here's the question: Am I likely to get into a good local college with these scores and a B+/A- GPA? Also, would it be too weird?
